JUDGMENT

[Judgment of the Court was delivered by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.] It is represented by the learned Government Advocate [Crl.Side] that the appellant/sole accused, who has been convicted for the commission of the offence under Section 302 of IPC and imposed with the sentence of Rigorous Imprisonment for life and to pay a fine amount of Rs.5,000/-, in default, to undergo six months simple imprisonment, vide impugned Judgment dated 08.02.2016 in S.C.No.342 of 2012 on the file of the IAdditional District and Sessions Court, Coimbatore, had died in prison. The Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Sulur Police Station, has also filed a Memo dated 13.10.2017 to that effect, which is taken on file and recorded.

In the light of the same, the appeal is dismissed as abated.
