Comp.A.Nos.53 & 54 of 2021 in C.P.No.172 of 2012 Comp.A.Nos.53 & 54 of 2021 in C.P.No.172 of 2012 M.SUNDAR, J This common order will govern captioned two applications which have been taken out in 'Company Petition No.172 of 2012' [hereinafter 'main CP' for the sake of convenience].

2. Mr.V.P.Raman, learned counsel for applicant in captioned applications submits that prayers are innocuous as one application seeks permission to appoint an individual to represent applicant company before various criminal Courts and other seeks permission to pay a sum of Rs.20,000/- to a lawyer, who has rendered professional services in the Supreme Court in proceedings relating to Company.

3. Mr.T.Gowthaman, learned counsel who has joined the hearing on behalf of Depositors Association which has stepped into the shoes qua original petitioning creditor, submits that there is no objection or opposition to aforementioned prayers.

4. Learned counsel for the 'Official Liquidator attached to this Court' [hereinafter 'OL' for the sake of convenience] submits that she really has no say in the matter owing to the unique trajectory this case has taken. For the limited purpose of capturing what unfurled in the hearing, it will suffice to say that Mr.Niranjan Rajagopalan who has been rendering commendable services as an Advocate Commissioner for distribution to the depositors has also joined the hearing.

5. This Court having heard aforementioned learned counsel, having perused the affidavit filed in support of captioned applications and noticing the supervisory powers/role of this Company Court, deems it appropriate to accede to the prayers in captioned applications.

6. Captioned applications are allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
