Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code to direct the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Pallikkaranai, Chennai, the 1st respondent herein, to enquire into the complaint given by the petitioner during May, 2010 and register an F.I.R. and take necessary further action in accordance with.

ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the first respondent herein/Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Pallikkaranai, Chennai, to enquire into the complaint given by the petitioner during the month of May, 2010 and to register an F.I.R. and take necessary action in accordance with law.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions submitted that the complaint of the petitioner was treated as petition enquiry and the same was closed, after recording the statements of both the parties on 23.09.2011. The complaint is of civil in nature pertaining to some domestic quarrels between the husband and wife. Further, it was submitted that some settlement has been arrived at between the parties during such enquiry and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

3. With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
