PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.09.2021 and thereby direct the respondents to issue patta in the name of petitioner in respect of the property situated in Ayan Punjai Survey No.532/1B, Thurinjikuppam Village, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District totally to an extent of 0.25 cents.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.09.2021 and thereby direct the respondents to issue patta in the name of petitioner in respect of the property comprised in Ayan Punjai Survey No.532/1B to an extent of 0.25 cents situated at, Thurinjikuppam Village, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

2.Heard, Mr. B. Gopalakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.M.Ayyadurai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation of the petitioner dated 03.09.2021, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the counter parties, if any, by giving them an opportunity of hearing and pass order to issue patta in respect of the property comprised in Ayan Punjai Survey No.532/1B, Thurinjikuppam Village, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
