This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 16.09.2024, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for survey and demarcation of boundaries with respect to the subject property. 2.Heard Mr.S.Senthilnathan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3.
3.The petitioner is claiming right and title over the property by virtue of a registered Sale Deed dated 05.12.1996. The petitioner wanted to survey the property and to demarcate the boundaries and there was some resistance from the side of the 4th respondent. In view of the same, the application submitted by the 2/4
petitioner seeking for survey was not acted upon. Left with no other alternative, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 16.09.2024 and conduct the survey strictly in line with the title deed of the petitioner and also the revenue records that stands in the name of the petitioner. At the time of survey, the same shall be done in the presence of the 4th respondent. This process shall be completed, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
