[Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] Petitioner is the father of the detenue viz., Vijayalakshmi, who is aged 28 years and has filed the present petition seeking a direction to respondents to produce the detenue before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents.

3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the detenue went missing from 17.12.2019. Petitioner lodged a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

complaint before the second respondent and a case was registered in Crime No.436 of 2019 for 'Woman Missing'. Since no effective steps were taken, the present petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief.

4. Today, the detenue is produced before this Court. We enquired the detenue as well as her parents. Detenue stated that earlier she married one Vadivel, who died due to heart attack. Thereafter, she fell in love with one Subramani, went with him on her own accord and married him. She also expressed her unwillingness to go along with her father/petitioner. In the aforestated circumstance, we find that there is no illegal detention of the detenue. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
