This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.660 of 2020 pending on the file of first respondent herein.

2. Heard Mr.M.R.Jothimanian, learned counsel for petitioners and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for first respondent.

3. The facts of this case is covered by the reported judgment of this Court in 2018 2 LW (Crl) 606 [Jeevanandham and others Vs. State Rep. by Inspector of Police and another].

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in Crime No.660 of 2020 pending on the file of first respondent, is hereby quashed in entirety. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
