Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the 3rd respondent vide his Memorandum No.49485/A3/2023 dated 06.06.2024 and quash the same and consequently to direct the 3rd respondent to hand over the RC Books and Bus Permits of the Bus bearing Reg.No.TN30-BY-7677 and its spare bus bearing Reg.No.TN-54-Y-4799 to the petitioner, within the time limit to be stipulated by this Court and pass such further orders.

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the 3rd respondent vide his Memorandum No.49485/A3/2023 dated 06.06.2024 and quash the same and consequently, direct the 3rd respondent to hand over the RC Books and Bus Permits of the Bus bearing Reg.No.TN-30-BY-7677 and its spare bus bearing Reg.No.TN-54-Y-4799 to the petitioner.
2. This matter in fact had been referred for settlement as desired by the parties to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court, by an order of this Court dated 07.02.2025.
3. Pursuant to the said reference, in the Mediation Centre, efforts had 2/4
been taken and the parties had come forward to settle the matter. Accordingly, the matter has been settled. In this regard, a joint compromise memo has also been prepared and both the parties have signed the same on 04.04.2025.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the respondents would submit that, in terms of the compromise entered into between the parties recorded in the joint compromise memo dated 04.04.2025, by recording the contents of the same, this writ petition can be closed.
5. In view of the said settlement reached between the parties, which has been reduced into writing by way of a joint compromise memo dated 04.04.2025, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
