A.No.5759 of 2007 in CS.No.157 of 1999 P.B.BALAJI, J., Mr.V.K.Sathiamurthy, learned counsel for the plaintiffs fairly submits that A.No.5759 of 2007, which is pending since 2007 for condonation of delay in filing the written statement of the 1st defendant can be ordered.

2.I have also gone through the affidavit filed in support of the application and I am satisfied with the reasons assigned for not filing the written statement within time. This application is allowed.

3.Mr.K.Bijai Sundar, learned counsel for the 1st defendant is permitted to move the Registry in view of A.No.5759 of 2007 being allowed and number his application for filing additional written statement.

4.Post the main case on 18.06.2024.
