This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Village Assistant.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner is now aged about 53 years. Therefore, he is barred for any appointment.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed.
