The petitioner is the wife of Abdul Wahid, who died on 04.07.1994. The petitioner is a widow. She also has two daughters and one son. She originally applied for legal heirship certificate before the Tahsildar at Sholinganallur. Thereafter, she had changed the address and had applied for legal heirship certificate from the second respondent herein.

2. Learned Government Counsel who had taken notice on behalf of the respondents stated that no objection is required from the Tahsildar at Sholinganallur.

3. Let the Tahsildar at Thandayarpet communicate with the Tahsildar at Sholinganallur and find out whether in the application made before the Tahsildar at Sholinganallur, the same legal heirs were shown or whether any other legal heir was shown.

4. Let that personal satisfaction be first done and thereafter, after arising at personal satisfaction on due enquiry, if the petitioner and her daughters and son are entitled for legal heirship certificate, 2/4

proceed to issue legal heirship certificate. The entire exercise shall be completed on or before 30.04.2023.

5. With the said observation, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
