ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] Seeking a direction to the second respondent to produce the petitioner's son viz., Syed Abudhageer, aged about 44 years in person before this Court and to set him at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that his son went missing on 01.05.2018 and that the police have not taken any action to secure him despite the complaint given in CSR No.1018 of 2019.

3.On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a regular case in Crime No.9 of 2021 has been registered for man missing and investigation is in progress.

4.This Court directs the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ulundurpet Sub Division to monitor the investigation in Crime No.9 of 2021 and keep the petitioner informed about the developments in that case. If the detenu is secured, he shall be produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate under intimation to the petitioner.

5.With the above direction, the habeas corpus petition stands closed.
