ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case for the various cognizable offences on the basis of the complaint dated 13.04.2015 against the person named in the complaint, the petitioner has come up with this petition. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police. 3.On a reading of the complaint, it appears to be pure and civil dispute between the petitioner and the proposed accused and hence, no direction as sought for by the petitioner could be granted. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Further, as per the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Sakiri Vasu v. State of U.P., (2008 AIR SCW 309) which was followed by a learned single Judge of this Court in A.Sowfila v. The Commissioner of Police, Madurai and 2 others (2008(2) L.W (Crl.) 843), the petitioner herein has got alternative remedy. When such an alternative remedy is available to the petitioner, he can work out the same in the manner known to law.

5.In view of the above, Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
