[Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] Petitioner is the mother of the detenue viz., R.Brinda D/o.Ramasamy, aged about 17 years and has filed the present petition seeking a direction to first respondent to produce the detenue before this Court from the illegal custody of second respondent and hand over to the petitioner.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first respondent.

3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the detenue went missing from 11.12.2019. After searching for the detenue with the neighbours and relatives, petitioner lodged a complaint https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

before the first respondent on 14.12.2019 and a case was registered in Crime No.365/2019 for 'Girl Missing'. Since there is no progress, the present petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief.

4. Today, the detenue was produced before this Court. Petitioner is also present. We enquired both of them. The detenue states that due to some misunderstanding with her mother, she left home and now, she is willing to go along with her mother. Petitioner has also stated as such. In the aforestated circumstance, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present petition.
