Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents as per the Petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2019, to conduct meeting for the Panchayat Union by informing the political parties and public peoples under Rule 8 (c) of the Tamil Nadu Local Bodies Delimitation Regulation, 2017, but not published in news papers and Government Advertisement and as per law to conduct meeting immediately and as per Panchayat Raj Act on rotation basis, to allot the Panapakkam Village, Nemili Panchayat Union, Nemili Taluk, Ranipettai District as Reserved Constituency for Scheduled Caste (SC-Adhi Dravidar) for the post of Village Panchayat President and Members.

O R D E R

Mr. B. Nedunchezhian, Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the First Respondent submits that fresh delimitation exercise would be taken in the bifurcated Ranipettai District in which the Petitioner is a voter, and public hearing would be conducted for the same under Rule 8(d) of the Tamil Nadu Local Bodies Delimitation Regulations, 2017, and the Petitioner may make representation to the concerned authority in that regard within the time limit. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner would make representation to the concerned authority on the aforesaid terms.

Recording the aforesaid submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
