O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to execute the warrant issued against the third respondent by the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, in C.C.No2468 of 2019 and to make the accused undergo the sentence imposed by the Court below.

2. When the matter came up on 11.01.2024, 29.01.2024 and 12.02.2024, repeated adjournments were sought for on the side of respondents. Hence, when the matter was taken up for hearing on 26.02.2024, this Court directed the first respondent to be present before this Court. This Court also made it clear that the warrant has to be executed and reported before the Court below.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the first respondent was present before this Court. A status report has also been filed by the investigation officer viz., Inspector of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Chennai. It is seen from the status report that the accused person was arrested on 02.03.2024 at about 01.40 a.m. and was produced 2/4

before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Egmore and he has remanded to puzhal prison.

Recording the compliance, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
