This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner dated 06.12.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for grant of patta in her name with respect to the subject property.

Heard Mr.S.Kiruthika, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 and 2.

The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property by virtue of a registered Settlement Deed dated 19.08.2011. A patta stands in the name of the grandfather. Hence, the petitioner 2/5

made an on-line application dated 06.12.2024 seeking for patta in her name. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition and also considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 06.12.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and necessary final orders shall be passed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
