2. The petitioner has preferred this writ petition against the order dated 22.3.2016 passed in O.A.No.695 of 2013 by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench.

3. The main prayer of the petitioner was that he should be allowed to participate in the Junior Accounts Officer Phase II Screening test. However, it is an admitted fact that the petitioner did not qualify in the Junior Accounts Officer Phase I Screening Test. As the petitioner did not qualify in the Junior Accounts Officer Phase I Screening Test, there is no question of the petitioner being allowed to appear for the Junior Accounts Officer Phase II Screening Test.

4. In this view of the matter, the writ petition is infructuous and, hence, it is disposed of as such. However, it is clarified that if as per the Rules the petitioner is eligible to again appear for the Junior Accounts Officer Phase I Screening Test, it would be open to him to do so. No costs.
