S.Venkatachalam ..Respondents Prayer: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the first respondent to conduct detailed enquiry about the construction of public toilet building which is newly constructed at Ward No.9, Vekitapuram, Neelambur Village Panchayat, Sulur Taluk, Coimbatore District and further direct him to take necessary action including to change the construction place of public toilet to some other place, based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.9.2020 within a stipulated time. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The matter pertains to the construction of a public toilet. Whatever the grievance of the petitioner may be, it is scarcely expected of the High Court to interfere in the details pertaining to such construction unless an extraordinary case is made out.

2. Since the matter does not involve much public interest, the petition is not entertained. W.P.No.647 of 2021 is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to make an appropriate representation to the local authorities. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.712 of 2021 is closed.
