ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of conducting a petition enquiry pursuant to a summon vide DCB C.No.48 DCB/NGT/15 dated 20.03.2015 on the file of the respondent police, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. It appears that petition enquiry is pending and it is alleged that when the petitioner appeared before the Inspector of Police for enquiry, the Inspector is harassing the petitioner to ask him to produce the original documents.

3. Under such circumstances, no blanket direction as prayed for by the petitioner can be given. If the petitioner is wanted either for enquiry or for interrogation, he can very well be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

summoned by the respondent police and while doing so, the petitioner shall not be harassed. At the same time, the petitioner should submit themselves to the respondent for interrogation and enquiry.

4. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
