ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry by interfering with civil dispute.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the th respondents 1 to 3 submitted that based on the complaint given by the 4 rd respondent police sent summon to the petitioner for enquiry respondent, the 3 and petitioner also once appeared for enquiry.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents 1 to 3 and also perused the materials available on record.

A reading of the materials shows that it is purely a money 2/5

transaction between the petitioner and the 4 th respondent and therefore, the 3 rd respondent police has no jurisdiction to summon the petitioner. 5.

Therefore, the respondents police 1 to 3 are directed not to harass the petitioner.

Since the relief sought for is only against the respondents 1 to 3, th respondent is dispensed with. The 4 th respondent shall work out notice to the 4 his remedy in the manner known to law.

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
