Prayer:Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the second respondent to submit his inspection report to the third respondent as per requesting letter dated 03.10.2017 in f/vz;/c/kp/bgh/,g/nt(fpHf;F)/nfh/fl;L/m/vz; 214 for the purpose of providing electricity connection and fix the stipulated time to the second respondent.

Though notice was served on the fifth respondent, she has not chosen to appear. Her name is printed in the causelist. 2.The petitioner seeks for a mandamus direct the second respondent to submit his inspection report to the third respondent as requested in letter dated 03.10.2017 for the purpose of providing electricity connection.

3.It is represented by the learned counsel for the Electricity Board that a report from the Tahsildar is awaited to get clarification with regard to the survey number of the land, for which the petitioner seeks for service connection. Therefore, he submitted that once the report is received, the request of the petitioner will be considered. 4.Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent submits that the report will be sent to the Electricity Department within a period of four weeks. 5.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of as follows: a)The second respondent shall send a report to the third respondent with regard to the clarification sought for in respect of the survey number of the land within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; b) On receipt of such report, the respondents 3 and 4 shall consider the request of the petitioner for providing electricity connection and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter. No costs.
