PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records pursuant to the detention order vide Crl.M.P.No.33/Bootlegger/2023/C1 dated 02.11.2023 passed by the 2nd respondent and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's husband namely Udhayakumar @ Kumar, aged about 42 years, who is detained in Central Prison, Coimbatore, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.420, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 22.01.2024, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands

dismissed as infructuous.
