ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.176 of 2014 from the file of the first respondent police to the second respondent herein.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that in Crime No.176 of 2014, investigation has already been completed. Further, learned Additional Public Prosecutor seeks time for filing the charge sheet before the Jurisdictional Court.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the first respondent to file the charge sheet in Crime No.176 of 2014, pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
