Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to conduct survey and put boundary stones in presence of the petitioner in all four corners of the petitioner's patta land with registration no.2459/1984, old Survey No.40/1, T.S.No.16/1, Ward - G, Block - 6 situated at Poonthottam Village, Virudhachalam Taluk by considering application dated 18.11.2020.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus directing the first respondent to conduct a survey and put boundary stones in presence of the petitioner in all four corners of the petitioner's patta land with registration no.2459/1984, old Survey No.40/1, T.S.No.16/1, Ward - G, Block - 6 situated at Poonthottam Village, Virudhachalam Taluk by considering application dated 18.11.2020.

2.Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent would submit that the grievance of the petitioner can be redressed only by paying the necessary fees before the Survey Department and they did not have any separate mechanism for surveying the land and fixing the boundaries and the Survey Department is the concerned Authority to measure the land and fix the boundaries. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.In view of the above submission, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to approach the concerned Survey Department by paying necessary fees and if such application is made, the concerned Survey Department shall measure the land and fix the boundaries from the period of 6 weeks thereafter. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
