This Criminal Original Petitions has been filed to call for the records and quash the entire proceedings in Cr.No.2810 of 2015 (pending investigation) on the file of the first respondent police.

2. When the matter came up for hearing today, the de facto complainant is personally present before this Court and he is identified by the Investigating Officer.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the second respondent and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that pending investigation in Crime No.2811 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent police, de facto complainant and the petitioners have amicably settled the issue among themselves and to this effect, the de facto complainant has filed an affidavit dated 05.10.2017, stating that he has no objection if the proceedings in Crime No.2810 of 2015 on the file first respondent police are quashed.

5. Recording the submissions made by the de facto complainant in his affidavit dated 05.10.2017, the proceedings in Crime No.2810 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent police is quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petitions stands allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
