hence we are also entitled to receive the enhanced compensation amount of Rs.14,812/- per Sq. Meter in the light of decree and judgment dated 21.03.2017 as awarded by the Hon'ble Additional Subordinate Judge Court, Chengalpattu in the above LAOP No.8, 5, and 7 of 2015 and confirmed by Hon'ble High Court Madras, by disposing of petitioner representation dated 20.11.2025. ORDER

The petitioners' lands were acquired under the Tamil Nadu Highways Act. Upon coming to know that similarly placed persons received enhanced compensation pursuant to the judgment and decree dated 21.03.2017 in L.A.O.P.Nos.5, 7 and 8 of 2015, the petitioners seek parity of treatment. After submitting representation dated 20.11.2025, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice for both the respondents. In view of the earlier order of this Court dated 12.02.2025 in W.P.No.4051 of 2025, he submits that the petitioners claim for

enhanced compensation would be considered and disposed of within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. In view of the above submissions, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider the petitioners' request for enhanced compensation and dispose of the same within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by taking note of the order dated 12.02.2025 in W.P.No.4051 of 2026. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is ordered.
