ORDER

Seeking to set aside the order dated 31.03.2015 made in Crl.M.P.No.541 of 2015 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Puducherry and modify the conditions imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.1477 of 2014 in Crime No.114 of 2014 dated 29.10.2014, the petitioner has come up with this petition. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on 29.10.2014, in Crl.M.P.No.1477 of 2014 the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Puducherry, granted bail to the petitioner on condition that the petitioner shall appear and sign before the respondent twice a day at 9.00a.m., and 5.00 p.m., continuously until further orders. Thereafter, the petitioner filed Cr.M.P.No.541 of 2015 for relaxation of the condition imposed on 29.10.2014. Since, the petitioner did not appear before the respondent police between 02.01.2015 and 06.01.2015, the learned Judge dismissed the said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

relaxation petition on 31.03.2015. Challenging the same and to modify the condition imposed in Cr.M.P.No.1477/2014 dated 29.10.2014, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner is now complying with the conditions regularly and that the investigation is pending. 5.Since, the bail was granted to the petitioner as early as on 29.10.2014, it will be in the interest of justice, if the condition imposed in Cr.M.P.No.1477/2014 dated 29.10.2014 is modified and the petitioner herein shall appear before the respondent police on every Monday at 6.30 p.m., until further orders.

6.With the above modification, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
