2. The petitioner challenges notice, dated 30.01.2015, that has been issued pending disciplinary proceedings that had been initiated as against him during his tenure as President, Ayalavadi Village Panchayat, Peranamallur Panchayat Union, Thrivannamalai District.

3. In any event, fate of the main proceedings, based on which, the impugned order, taking away the cheque power has been passed, is unknown. That apart, the impugned order calls for an explanation as to why, such cheque power should not be withdrawn and the petitioner has tendered a reply to the same on 07.04.2015.

4. Neither the petitioner nor the respondents are in a position to report to the Court, the present status of the matter and I am hence disinclined to keep this matter pending any further. Recording this, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
