The writ petition has been filed in the nature of writ of mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 29.08.2022.

2. The petitioner claims that she should be recognized as second class legal heir for her father's brother wife, cousin mother Jayammal, who died on 25.12.2002.

3. She has stated that her father's brother cousin Ellaiya Reddiyar also died on 16.01.2005.

4. The petitioner therefore claims that, she and her brother Ravi are the class two legal heirs of Ellaiya Reddiyar and Jayammal. The petitioner had applied through online to the respondents through proper mode.

5. If it is so done, an obligation is placed on the respondents to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the said application. The petitioner may enclose necessary documents. If the respondents have any doubt about the claim of the petitioner then notice may be issued to the petitioner and necessary clarification may be sought and then order may be passed with reasons. In any case, the exercise must be completed within a period of four week from the date of receipt of the said application.
