ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to update the name of the petitioner in the revenue records as per the assignment order dated 07.06.2008 issued by the second respondent in respect of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner claims that by the assignment order dated 07.06.2008 issued by the second respondent, the petitioner has become the owner of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. However, the grievance of the petitioner is that her name has not been included in the revenue records. In such circumstances, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 08.02.2023 to the third respondent, seeking to update the name of the petitioner in the revenue records as per the assignment order dated 07.06.2008. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents would submit, on instructions, that the representation of the petitioner has been forwarded by the third respondent to the second respondent for verification. He would also submit that the final order will be passed by the

first respondent.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law by the first respondent based on the recommendations made by the third respondent to the second respondent within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's request dated 08.02.2023 to update the name of the petitioner in the revenue records as per the assignment order dated 07.06.2008 issued by the second respondent in respect of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition based on the recommendations made by the second and third respondents within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No Costs.
