This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation and to file the charge sheet with appropriate penal sections in Crime No.1666 of 2014, pending investigation on the file of the respondent police, within the time limit fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. Today, Mr.E.S.Lokesh Babu, Police Constable Grade-I (27318), V5 Thirumangalam Police Station, Chennai, is present.

3. Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the FIR and the fact that the FIR has been registered as early as on 03.12.2014, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.1666 of 2014, within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and either file a closure report or a charge sheet as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
