This Writ Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to take appropriate action on the petitioner's online complaint dated 27.04.2022 to issue Non-Traceable Certificate. 1/4

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had lost his original sale deed dated 19.08.2004 in Document No.2167 of 2004 on the file of the Sub-Registrar, Tenkasi. Hence, he preferred a online complaint on 27.04.2022 before the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the Director General of Police issued a Circular Memorandum in Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022 with regard to the procedure to be followed for the issuance of Non Traceable Certificate. He further submitted that if the petitioner gives the representation following the instructions given in the Circular Memorandum, necessary action would be taken.

4. Recording the same, this Court directs the petitioner to give fresh representation based on the instructions given in the Circular Memorandum Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022. On receiving such representation, the respondent Police is directed to dispose of the representation within a period of four weeks thereafter.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. 2/4
