Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to take appropriate steps along with concern respondents for providing all infrastructures and other amenities as well as to rectify the other issues in respect of 22nd respondent Primary Health Centre for the welfare and well being of general public by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.11.2020.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY,J.) The writ petitioner complains about the poor infrastructural facilities at the Government Primary Health Centre, Kannankurichi, Salem. She states that she resides close to the said Primary Health Centre and that the Primary Health Centre is in extremely poor condition with limited and inadequate amenities. In support of the writ petition, photographs have been annexed.

2. It is not possible for this Court to actively interfere in matters of this description which would also require continual monitoring of the maintenance of such facilities. The writ petitioner has sent a representation to the official respondents on 27.11.2020.

3. Accordingly, without examining the merits of such representation, the official respondents concerned are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and dispose of the same by a speaking order within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event the

writ petitioner is aggrieved by such disposal, it is open to the writ petitioner to avail all available legal remedies, otherwise than by a public interest litigation, after establishing her locus standi in that regard.
