ORDER

By consent of both the parties, this writ petition has been taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.This writ petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief. 3.The petitioner seeks for early disposal of his Appeal pending on the file of the first respondent. The Appeal is dated 28.02.2022 and has been filed by the petitioner, aggrieved by the order of the second respondent dated 23.07.2021, wherein punishment has been imposed, namely, stoppage of one increment without cumulative effect, on the petitioner. 2/4

4.Heard Mr.B.Manimaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Stalin Abimanyu, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4.

5.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if a direction is issued to the first respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's Appeal dated 28.02.2022, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's Appeal dated 28.02.2022 as stated supra, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
