PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records relating to the detention order in C.O.C.No.65/2023 dated 04.12.2023 passed by the 2nd respondent under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's husband Elamaran, S/o.Panneerselvam, aged about 30 years, the detenu, now confined in District Jail, Nagapattinam, before this Court and set the petitioner's huband Elamaran, S/o.Panneerselvam, aged about 30 years, the detenu herein, at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.312, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XV) Department, dated 18.01.2024, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
