O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed praying to transfer the investigation in connection to F.I.R.No.217 of 2012 pending on the file of the respondent police to C.B.C.I.D., and to file final report.

2.Heard Mr.J.R.K.Bhavanantham, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Govindarajan, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that though an FIR is registered in the year 2012, there is no progress in the investigation on the part of the Investigating Officer. 4.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that new investigation officer has been appointed very recently and that they would endeavor to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible.

5.Though the petitioner sought for transferring of the investigation, in view of the latest development that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

investigating officer has been changed, the petitioner may not be aggrieved if the new investigating officer takes over the investigation. Hence, there shall be a direction to the respondent herein to complete the investigation in F.I.R.217 of 2012 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed.
