ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.S.Pugalenthi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of his representation dated 21.08.2023 and consequently cancel the patta granted in favour of the third respondent.

3. A person aggrieved can file an appeal, challenging the grant of patta, as provided under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act.

4. In case the petitioner is aggrieved, then, the petitioner may avail the remedy of appeal as provided under the said Act. In that event, all contentions are kept open.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order

as to costs.
