By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2 The petitioner claims that the agricultural lands comprised in S.Nos.106/5, 107/1B, 296/4, 306/1, 307/2, 308/1, 308/2, 309/1A, 309/2B, 309/2C admeasuring to an extent of 24 acres and 23 cents situated at Manganoor village, Kandarvakottai Taluk, Pudukottai District, was purchased by his father by way of a registered Sale Deed bearing Document No.1224/1998 [SRO, Kandarvakottai] dated 18.09.1998 and after his demise, his legal heirs succeeded the estate. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that the 6th respondent is none other than her sister and she has fabricated the documents and obtained Patta No.977 dated 18.05.2004, despite the factum of pendency of TOS.No.18/2004 on the file of the Original Side of this Court. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 25.02.2016 to the respondents 1 to 5 and since no orders have been passed by the respondents 1 to 5, the petitioner came forward to file this writ petition.
3 Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5. 4 This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2016 on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the 6th respondent herein and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the 6th respondent herein.
5 The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
