This petition is filed by the petitioner/accused seeking extension of time to comply with the condition imposed by this Court, vide order dated 19.12.2019 in Crl.MP.No.18843 of 2019 in Crl.RC No.1491 of 2019. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court, while granting the relief of suspension of sentence to the petitioner, has directed him to deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- before the trial Court on or before 03.01.2020 and due to ill-health of the petitioner, he could not comply with the said condition within the time stipulated by this Court. Hence, the learned counsel sought to extend the time.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the affidavit filed in support of this petition.

4.Though this Court is not inclined to accept the reason adduced by the petitioner for non-compliance of the condition imposed on him, yet, in the interest of justice, time is extended till 30.01.2020. This petition is ordered accordingly.

Call on 31.01.2020 for reporting compliance.
