This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to call for the records pertaining to the charge sheet in C.C.No.5231 of 2012 on the file of the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai and to quash the same. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

suffice, if this Court issues direction to the Trial Court to expedite the trial and complete the same as per Section 309 of Cr.P.C., as early as possible.

3.In view of the above, this Court directs the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, to expedite the trial in C.C.No.5231 of 2012 and complete the same as per Section 309 of Cr.P.C., as expeditiously as possible.

4.With the above directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, are closed.
