Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 6th respondent to consider the petitioner for appointment to the post of Watchman according to employment exchange seniority and confer all the consequential benefits.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the sixth respondent to consider the petitioner for appointment to the post of Watchman according to employment exchange seniority and to confer all the consequential benefits.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner belong to Scheduled Caste. He registered his name in the Employment Exchange with failed SSLC Qualification on 16.11.1990. The petitioner has attended four interviews for the posts coming under the Last Grade Government Service, however, he was not appointed to any post. Hence, this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was called for interview four times by different Departments and the petitioner also attended all the four interviews, however, the persons who registered their name in the Employment Exchange after the petitioner were given appointment. He would further submit that the petitioner made representations dated 10.09.

2012 to the first respondent seeking to give appointment in any one of the Department in which he attended the interview; and 18.03.2013 to the sixth respondent under the Right to Information Act, however, the said representations have not yet been considered. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would further submit that though the petitioner filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 10.09.2012 and 18.03.2013. 5.Considering the limited request now made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 10.09.2012 and 18.03.

2013 and to dispose of the said representations, if they have not yet been disposed of, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
