ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2025 requesting to cancel the pattas granted in favour of the respondents 5 to 13 for their respective properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition.
2. The petitioner claims that erroneously, the fourth respondent has issued pattas in favour of the private respondents. The petitioner had submitted a representation dated 14.10.2025 requesting the official respondents to cancel the __________Page 2 of 4
pattas granted in favour of the private respondents. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 5 to 13 in this writ petition, notice to them in this writ petition is dispensed with.
4. No prejudice will be caused to the official respondents, if the aforesaid representation of the petitioner is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing objections from the respondents 5 to 13 as well as any other party whom the official respondents deem fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2025 seeking for cancellation of pattas granted in favour of the respondents 5 to 13 for the subject property, after hearing objections if any from the respondents 5 to 13 as well as any other party whom the third respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
