The Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct 2nd respondent to sub divide the survey nos.229/3 to an extent of 23 cents in Velakalahalli Village, Palacode Taluk, Dhramapuri District to issue a separate patta in the name of the petitioner based on the petitioner's application dated 26.10.2024.

2.The petitioner purchased the subject property under a registered sale deed No.2449 of 2024 on the file of the SRO, Palacode. The petitioner would submit that even after the purchase by the petitioner, the 2nd respondent issued a patta in the name of the petitioner's vendor. The petitioner submitted an application dated 26.10.2024, to the 2nd respondent for sub-division and issue of separate patta in the name of 2/5

the petitioner. However, there is no response. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.Heard the learned counsels on the either side and perused the records.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and subdivide the subject property and issue separate patta in favour of the petitioner. In the case of a rejection, a speaking order shall be passed. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 8 weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
