This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to survey the land to an extent of 650 sq.mtr. plot comprised in S.No.195/5-195/8, which was subsequently assigned new S.No.142 and sub divided into 142/14 and further sub divided into 142/14A-142/14F situated at Maligampattu Village, Cuddalore District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was purchased by the petitioner and his neighbours and the Revenue authorities also issued joint patta in their favour; on coming to know of the unilateral change in topography and survey field sketch of the subject property, he submitted a representation dated 17.02.2023 to the 1st respondent, to survey the said property and demarcate its boundaries. However, the same has not been considered. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.02.2023 and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation for survey of the property and demarcate the boundaries after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
