ORDER

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents respondents to issue patta in respect of land in Survey No.41/1 of Ramachandrapuram Village, Kattukkanallur Post, Arni Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. The case of the petitioner is that she is the widow of the Ex2/5

serviceman Sippai Chinnakannu and subsequent to his demise, the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the land and she is carrying on cultivation in the land by paying taxes to the Government. The grievance of the petitioner is that though she had made a representation to the respondents lastly on 25.07.2022 for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner, no action has been taken by the them till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2022 and pass Orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
