Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the 2nd respondent to produce the petitioner's wife namely Mrs.Sivaranjani, W/o V.Vignesh aged 22 years, before this Hon'ble Court from the custody of the 3rd respondent and set her at liberty.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.) The writ of habeas corpus has been instituted to direct the second respondent to produce the detenue Sivaranjani.
2. The petitioner claims to be the husband of the detenue. The detenue has appeared through video conferencing with the assistance of her lawyer. We have examined the detenue. The detenue has completed M.Com degree. She said that she has not married the petitioner. Presently she is living with her parents and she expressed her willingness to continue to live with her parents. Thus the detenue is not under illegal detention. The petitioner is directed not to interfere with the life of the detenue anymore. In the event of any such interference, the detenue or her parents may approach the jurisdictional police for initiation of appropriate action. With these
