Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to to extend the time to produce the sureties, order passed in Crl.M.P.No.6613 of 2020 dated 29/10/2020 in Crl.O.P.No.8758 of 2020 dated 16/06/2020 in Crime no. 224 of 2019 on the file of the respondent and thus render justice.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.E.PANDIAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S. A.GOPINATH, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- Vide order dated 29.10.2020 in Crl.M.P.No.6613 of 2020 in Crl.O.P.No.8758 of 2020, this Court extended a period of two weeks for furnishing sureties.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to the covid-19 pandemic situation he is unable to surrender before concerned Court and executing sureties within a stipulated period as ordered by the Court. This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking further extension of time for surrender.
3. Being satisfied with the reasons shown in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the prayer sought for by the petitioner deserves to be considered favourably.
4. Accordingly, time is extended by a further period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for the petitioner to surrender before the concerned Court and execute the sureties. All other conditions remain unal -sd/- 21/09/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
