Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the first respondent.

2. The petitioner namely, father of the minor would aver that due to financial constraints, delay of 724 days occurred in preferring this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

3. Per contra, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the first respondent would raise strong objections in allowing this petition.

4. The reasons assigned by the petitioner in the affidavit appears to be reasonable and acceptable. Therefore, this Court is inclined to allow this petition, subject to the condition that the interest for the delay period of 724 days shall stand waived.
