The petition is filed under 17-B of the I.D Act to direct the respondent to pay the petitioner the last drawn wages of Rs.6,000/- till the disposal of the Writ petition. The petitioner has filed sworn affidavit in which he has categorically stated that from the date of his dismissal, he was out of employment and inspite of his best efforts, he was unable to get any employment. The said averment of the petitioner is not disputed by the respondent. As the petitioner is not gainfully employed, the 17-B application is allowed directing the respondents to pay the petitioner, the last drawn wages of Rs.6,000/- every month starting from this month and payable on or before 10th of every month thereafter. Direction is issued to the respondent to pay the petitioner, the arrears of 17-B wages from the date of filing of the writ petition till the date of actual payment within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
